Revo Fitness is a home grown fitness and gym operator that was founded on the mission to make quality fitness more affordable and accessible to all and after hearing this episode you will understand why it has become such a huge success.
Achieving big awards in 2025 like the #1 Top Value Brand for Gym & Fitness Clubs for Finder's Customer Satisfaction Awards and National Winner for Outstanding Growth Category at Telstra Best of Business Awards are further confirmation of what Revo Fitness has achieved.
This proudly Western Australian start up was founded by our very special guest for this episode, Andrew Holder, back in 2012 at the tender age of 21 while he was still studying at University, and striving to become a WA State Cricketer…..which by the way he became.
Phenomenally, Revo Fitness has become one of the largest privately owned fitness operators in Australia with some 71 locations.
Andrew’s speaks so well and his journey has included some pretty serious recognition including:
- Named in WA’s Young Achiever Awards list
- Winner of the Business News 40 under 40 Murdoch University People’s Choice Award in 2022
- Finalist in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in 2023 & 24
It is a real privilege to have Andrew on the show. This is one very insightful conversation into entrepreneurship and scaling a business on the national stage, while preserving the very core values of Revo Fitness that remain so ever important, and that were established from the very beginning.

Our special guest for this episode is highly regarded, Sydney based fund manager Chris Stott.
Chris earnt his stripes working for some 12 years with funds management luminaries Geoff Wilson and Matthew Kidman and the team at Wilson Asset Management, the majority as Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager responsible for managing the investment team and overseeing the investment portfolios.
He did well. So much so that in 2014, the Australian Financial Review named Chris as one of the Five Best Young Fund Managers in Australia.
In 2019 Chris co-founded 1851 Capital leveraging his 22 years’ experience in the Australian funds management industry, and kicked off his one and only fund at the start of February in 2020. With COVID, unbeknown to Chris, literally around the corner, timing was everything and provides for a fascinating insight into investment portfolio management in very challenging times.
Outside of investment management, Chris is also Deputy Chairman of the foundation of his beloved Sydney AFL team the Sydney Swans.
This certainly is a captivating conversation.

Our special guest for this fantastic episode of Finding the Front is Kyle De Souza, leading Resources Analyst for Euroz Hartleys and immediate past President of the WA School of Mines Alumni.
Originally from Bombay in India, Kyle aged 7, with his family moved to Perth and went about settling into life in WA.
Graduating from the WA School of Mines with Honours, he built a career as a mining engineer, spending some 15 years in hard rock mining across Western Australia. Over this period, Kyle achieved both a First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency and an Underground Shift Supervisors Certificate of Competency – not easy by any stretch.
Kyle was invited to join the Council of the WA School of Mines Alumni in 2012.
His career progressed to an established and valued position within mining success story Saracen Minerals. He then decided to make an important but difficult decision to pivot his career in a new direction towards the financial markets taking a role as a Resources Equity Analyst with the Equities Research team in Euroz Hartleys.
He was appointed to the highly regarded role of President of the WA School of Mines Alumni in 2022 for a 3 year term.
This is an absolute ripper with so many reflections and insights of life and building a career overlayed with a love of the mining industry and the people in it.
